My goal is to make engaging, standards-based science content using sound pedagogy. I have a line of products based off of the Florida science standards. I write NGSS picture books called the Donut Detective Agency with science, engineering and reading lessons to go with them. You can also find science focused CSI, STEM and STEAM activities.
This is my favorite resource that I have ever purchased on TPT! It was so well done. The questions were great. The set up was easy to follow. The interest level was high. It had a great connection to the nature of science. I was so impressed and can't wait to see what else you have to offer!

Additionally, the content was thoughtfully aligned with state standards, ensuring it supported both learning objectives and curriculum requirements.
My students were extremely engaged during this activity. They loved analyzing and connecting the evidence and even created theories as to why the person committed the crime. Their discussions were great! I loved how most everything was included and so well organized. Great hands on fun and critical thinking for Halloween!
This morning word is GREAT practice for preparing my students for the type of questioning they will see on their 5th grade science test in Florida. It also prepares them for the higher level questioning on their classroom science assessments. Science is not about reciting information, but rather being able to apply that information. These questions provided in the morning work really make my students think on a deeper level. I also love that you present the question, open-ended, on the first day, then can provide multiple choice options on the second day. This also promotes critical thinking skills. Overall, an amazing product!!!
